Duane Lee “Dog” Chapman, an American bounty hunter and former bail bondsman, was born on February 2, 1953, in Denver, Colorado. When he was in his early 20s, he was known as an amateur boxer. He came to the bounty hunting career while in court, for his child support trial. He was unable to pay compensation, but the judge offered him a deal. Under that deal, he had to bring in a fugitive in exchange for paying a fraction of Chapman’s child support to Leland Chapman and Duane Lee. He was then the father of five children named Barbara Kate, Leland Chapman, Tucker, Duane Lee Chapman and Baby Lyssa.

Before moving to Hawaii with his five children, he started his bail bond business in his hometown of Denver, Colorado. However, he had to return to his hometown for the long stay after his mother’s death. While Chapman was in his hometown with his wife Alice Barmore, they both moved to Hawaii to open another place of work in downtown Honolulu. He was soon registered to arrest more than 6,000 people. His unusual arrest record put him in the spotlight that helped start a television show called Dog the Bounty Hunter with Chapman and his team arresting fugitives.

This television show soon became the highest-rated program on A&E television, but the network pulled it in November 2007, after Chapman was overheard on a recorded phone conversation using a racial disgrace for the black bride. of his son.
