1. Before beginning any alignment, always check for loose or worn parts, tire pressure, and unusual wear patterns.

2. Raise and support the front of the vehicle by lifting the frame rail to unload the front suspension, but letting the tires touch the rack.

3. Remove the lower control arm mounting bolt.

4. Install a new bolt through a new cam so that the bolt head is in the hole. Mount the cam shoulder plate so that the pin fits into the small hole in the frame and install the bolt and cam through the plate, frame, and control arm. Figure 1

Note: The bolt and cam assembly will be installed on the vehicle in the opposite direction from the original bolt.

5. Install each bolt and cam plate so that the bolt head is toward the center of the vehicle. (More positive camber position of the wheel) Install a new washer and nut and tighten slightly.

6. Repeat steps 3, 4, and 5 for each lower control arm bolt.

Note: The stabilizer bar will need to be unscrewed into the frame and lowered in order to remove the two bolts from the rear control arm.

7. Lower the vehicle and adjust the tilt and tilt by turning the hex on the cam washer with a 2 1/8 “open end wrench.

Note: If the cam bolt and washer begin to bind while turning, it may be necessary to lift the vehicle off the frame to unload the suspension and start with the cam bolt positioned for the most positive camber.

8. Tighten the cam bolt nut to the manufacturer’s specifications.

9. Adjust toe-in, recheck alignment, and road test vehicle.

Always check that there is adequate clearance between suspension components and other vehicle components.
