Is all the trash taking up all of your garage space and are your classic cars withering outside in the sun, rain, and storm? Classic cars are prized possessions and are not meant to be out in the middle of piles of junk. Your car restoration garage must be organized and all things must be put in their proper place. Read on to find out how you will do it.

THE STEPS:

Sort items that can be reused. Throw away the broken things and sell the things you will never need. If you want to make some profit, you can also go for a garage sale.

Rearrange the things you want to keep. Keep things of similar use together. For example, put air tools in one place, air compressors in another place, and so on.

Buy some plastic containers. You will need them. You will have to stuff all the camping gear, the craft vendors into them. Buy some beans that you can store in expensive items that are expensive and dangerous.

Redo the walls of your garage. Arrange some free standing shelves or cabinets or stands that you can put some of the important car restoration tools on. Store heavy items on the bottom shelves and light tools on the top shelves. If your garage is small, attach these shelves to all 3 walls of your garage.

Not just car restoration tools, there are a few other things that are essential in a garage. Some of these are brooms, rakes, shovels, folding chairs, and other items on your garage walls.

Attach some hooks to the roof of your garage. Hang the bikes from these hooks. Attach the hooks near the sides of the walls and attach the bikes to them in such a way that they deliver your classic cars.

Design a low deck so your classic cars can slide down if there’s a shortage of space. Don’t leave cars empty. You can fill them with a garage item to make the most of the space.

SOME ADVICES:

While cleaning your garage, empty it completely. Put all the garage equipment in the driveway. Clean garage equipment upside down and put it back in place.

Don’t put away unnecessary things that you know you will never need. This will result in an unnecessary blockage of space.

Light your garage well. You don’t want to work in a dreary place, do you?

Place a doormat near the doors of your classic car. Wash your feet on the doormat every time you get in and out of your car. Place another doormat outside your garage doors. Wash your feet well before entering your home.

Never start car engines or other engines inside the garage.

Keep flammable things in a safe place for disposal.
