The Hollywood and Japanese diet: how to use them to lose weight

Hollywood style

The calorie limitation is 600 to 800 calories per day. You can find information about what you can and cannot eat on the Internet. One can do a Hollywood-style weight loss program once or twice a year so as not to harm one’s health. After each period, you can lose around 5 kilos. But everything you lost will be quickly recovered if you don’t change your whole lifestyle.

This famous diet is done in 13 days. For 13 days, exclude sugar, salt, alcohol, floury and confectionery products and drink unlimited water. All your diet will be strictly fixed by meals. You can find the plan for the Japanese-style weight loss program below.

Day 1

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: 2 boiled eggs, fresh cabbage salad with vegetable oil, a glass of tomato juice or a fresh tomato.

Dinner: fried or boiled fish, fresh cabbage salad with vegetable oil.

Day 2

Breakfast: black coffee with dry rind.

Lunch: fried or boiled fish, fresh cabbage salad with vegetable oil.

Dinner: boiled veal 200gr, a glass of kefir or yogurt.

Day 3

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: raw egg, 3 large carrots boiled with vegetable oil.

Dinner: apples.

Day 4

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: a large root of parsnip or parsley fried in vegetable oil, apples.

Dinner: fruit.

day 5

Breakfast: raw carrot salad with lemon juice.

Lunch: a large fish (500gr) fried or boiled, a glass of tomato juice.

Dinner: fruit.

day 6

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: 500gr of boiled chicken, salad of raw carrots or cabbage.

Dinner: 2 boiled eggs, raw carrot salad with vegetable oil.

day 7

Breakfast: tea.

Lunch: boiled beef 200gr, fruits.

Dinner: any dinner menu above except day 3.

day 8

Breakfast: tea.

Lunch: 200gr of boiled beef, fruits.

Dinner: any dinner menu above except day 3.

day 9

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: half of boiled chicken, salad of fresh cabbage or carrots.

Dinner: 2 hard-boiled eggs, a glass of raw carrot salad with vegetable oil.

day 10

Breakfast: raw carrot salad with lemon juice.

Lunch: a large fried or boiled fish, glass of tomato juice.

Dinner: fruit.

day 11

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: a raw egg, three large carrots boiled in vegetable oil, 15g of hard cheese.

Dinner: fruit.

day 12

Breakfast: black coffee with dry rind.

Lunch: a large marrow fried in vegetable oil, apples, black coffee, dried rind.

Dinner: 200g of boiled beef, a glass of kefir or yogurt.

day 13

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: boiled eggs, cabbage salad boiled with vegetable oil, glass of tomato juice.

Dinner: boiled or fried fish.

day 14

Breakfast: black coffee.

Lunch: boiled or fried fish, fresh cabbage salad with vegetable oil.

Dinner: 200g of stewed beef, a glass of kefir or yogurt.

The information above can help you lose 5-10 kilos (10-20 pounds), some people could lose 20-30 kilos (40-60 pounds) in 3-4 months. It is very impressive, but as we already know, it is not difficult to lose weight but to keep it small. After stopping the diet program, the person regains 30-50% of the lost weight in a first year if they are not careful. More than that, diets are difficult to maintain and can cause ketosis, dry skin, hair loss, and in 25% of cases develop cholelithiasis.

What about fasting days? Fasting days are good. But only if you do them no more than once or twice a week. On a fasting day you can lose from 500g to 1 kilo. It is very convenient to use them if you know that you eat a little extra every day and cannot change it. There are seven days in a week, it is okay to make one of them a fast day.

Is it possible to lose weight just by doing fasting days and without harming your body? Just no.
