Go Pro: 7 Steps to Becoming a Network Marketing Professional, A Review

Business

Eric Worre is a professional network marketing trainer who travels the world conducting training events and coaching network marketers. Eric has had great success with various companies. He is known for his Go Pro training videos on YouTube. Eric is very experienced and an excellent communicator. The book is clear and concise.

In this book, he goes deeper into telling his own story and how he overcame his struggles to become a professional network marketer and coach. His struggle story is one most network marketers can relate to. He is quick to identify the rejection and discouragement issues that cause people to leave the business.

According to Eric in this business, what differentiates the professional from the hobbyist is the hobbyist’s tendency to give in to their discouragement and go out of business when they don’t find success quickly. The professional, on the other hand, realizes the need to train and learn new skills. They understand that getting started in business is not like winning a lottery ticket. The professional has a teachable attitude and is willing to make a plan to see it through.

There was nothing new here regarding invitation abilities. This is old information that Worre has posted before. His method of rushing is an old-school tactic that can put off a prospect, who wants to know more about who you are and what you stand for before saying yes to taking a look.

It is not a complete book, as it does not deal in depth with several common topics, such as handling objections or rejection that plague the individual. He says you need to become indifferent to rejection and in a year you can become a pro, without revealing exactly how.

I found the Mark Yarnell classic, Your First Year in Network Marketing more useful because Yarnell calls it a numbers game, while Worre touches on this only briefly. In fact, however, it is only from the experience of getting close to many, many, many people that one becomes indifferent to rejection. And for the beginner, those numbers can be much higher than the 250 found in your warm market. Many give up before that point. Why not just say that this is a 3% business, even for a professional?

However, Go Pro 7 Steps to Become a Network Marketing Professional is a worthwhile book for someone new to the NWM industry.
