Manna Tombs strategy for World of Warcraft

The Manna Tombs is the first instance you come to in Auchindoun. This dungeon has 3 potholes. Here are the strategies to defeat these bosses.

Pandemonium

The first boss is Pandemonius. He is an armored voidwalker with no physical attacks. His normal attacks are magical and deal 650-900 shadow damage.

Pandemonius also has two additional abilities. This first one is Void Blast. This does a knockback ability that deals 1663-2137 shadow damage every five seconds. The second ability is Dark Shell. This spell reflects damaging spells back towards the caster.

To tank this fight, have the tank keep their back against a wall. This will prevent it from being thrown by Void Blast.

All other players should keep their backs to a wall out of Pandemonius’s reach to avoid knockback. Void Blast can be avoided with Iceblock, Spell Reflect, or Grounding Totem. Using these will make it easier to defeat Pandemonius.

Tavarok

The second boss is Tavarok. This is a simple fight because he doesn’t hit very hard, although he has two abilities that can be a problem. The first is Earthquake, during which all players in range take 918-1181 damage and are stunned for five seconds with a range of 35 yards. The second and deadliest ability is Crystal Prison. This deals damage equal to 10% of the target’s health every second. Cast on a random player and lasts for five seconds. As long as the party’s health is above 50%, this shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

To win the fight, have the tank attack Tavarok and keep him 36-40 yards from the healer. Put all the DPS on Tavarok, with ranged players placed outside the range of the Earthquake ability.

This fight will be more difficult for the healer, since it is his job to keep everyone above 50% health.

Nexus-Prince Shaffar

The last boss in Manna Tombs is Nexus-Prince Shaffar. He has several abilities to be aware of:

Fireball – This deals fire damage for 1272-1725.

· Frostbolt- This deals 978-1322 frost damage and slows the player down for four seconds.

Frost Nova: Roots you to the ground for up to six seconds and deals 744-956 Frost damage.

Blink: This is like the wizard’s blink. Teleports Nexus-Prince Shaffar forward. Blink removes any slow or immobilization effects players have placed on it.

The fight is a resistance fight. For starters, Nexus-Prince Shaffar has three additions. Ads must be killed while the tank attacks the prince. If ads are not removed within a certain period of time, they will lead to more difficult ads.

Once the ads die, all damage goes to the boss. Since this boss’s attacks are all magical, he doesn’t hit very hard. Spell reflection or high magic resist are good for this fight.

As long as the ads are removed quickly and consistently, this fight shouldn’t be a problem for experienced players. If you want to learn more about World of Warcraft strategy, you can read the Team Idemise Guide.
