Description: The Bernese Mountain Dog breed is 23 to 28 inches tall depending on sex, with the female being the smallest. It is an agile dog despite being a large and robust breed. Living conditions: This dog is not recommended for an apartment. They need a large garden and due to the abundant and thick layer they prefer to live in colder climates. This is a large dog that needs long regular daily walks.
