The 6 C’s for a successful female entrepreneur

Relationship

Women’s entrepreneurship is growing rapidly and it is likely that the number of female entrepreneurs will be much higher than that of male entrepreneurs. Some women entrepreneurs possess few qualities that move them forward toward success. These qualities are some that many successful women entrepreneurs possess and must be learned and possessed by those who strive to be successful in their entrepreneurship.

The 6 C’s: Confidence, Courage, Conviction, Competence, Communication and Conceptualization.

1. Confidence:

“Confidence is that which is cultivated over time, not making mistakes, but not fearing making mistakes.”

Confidence is one that develops over time, based on previous experiences, achievements and learning. It is one that is practiced and executed. Strong-minded women are more likely to be confident in their business. Doomed to fail are women entrepreneurs who lack confidence. Having confidence in your company opens up new ways to make your business successful.

2. Brave:

All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them. -Walt Disney

The absence of fear does not imply courage but rather, accepting that something else is more important than fear, is what courage is.

The accumulation of confidence leads to the development of courage. Being a brave woman brings fortune and it is not said that “fortune favors the brave”. A brave woman breaks the blocks and keeps moving forward to success.

3. Belief:

There can be no great courage where there is no trust or security, and half the battle is in the conviction that we can do what we undertake. -Orison Sweett Marden

The venture that most women entrepreneurs undertake successfully with a strong conviction of being what they want. It is the belief that is more important than the experience.

4. Competition:

Competence means having the skill and knowledge to do things successfully.

Competence is about opportunity seeking, goal setting, risk taking, persuasion, networking, persistence, and demanding quality and efficiency.

5. Communications:

Effective communication is the key to the success of any endeavor.

It is the key to the establishment, survival and growth of companies. Good communication skill is one that is practiced over time and is about getting the message across clearly and correctly. Communication helps you as a businesswoman to go the extra mile and make things work for you.

6. Conceptualization:

“Conceptualization is the process of developing and clarifying new and existing concepts.”

Identifying unique ideas and acting on them is what is most required for success as a female entrepreneur. Investigating complex situations and getting out of them requires great conceptualization. Entrepreneur women must be able to know the existing problems and obstacles and find a new and better solution to be a great entrepreneur woman.
