The Venetian Las Vegas is one of the most iconic hotels in town. Its indoor canals and gondola rides are an ode to Italy, but the hotel complex also combines Renaissance-era design with high-end shopping and a cavalcade of restaurants from top celebrity chefs.

While rates at the property might be slightly higher than some of its competitors, it’s worth it given the suite sizes and overall impeccable standards at this hotel. Guests can opt for a standard room or a luxury king suite, each with a separate living area and oversized tub.

Suites also include a flat-screen TV, robe and slippers, and a minibar. The bathrooms are a standout: they’re spacious, with a deep tub and a shower that includes a rainfall showerhead, plus an additional swivel-out mirror for makeup. The rooms have a comfortable feel, and there’s a great sense of privacy when you’re lounging in your suite.

There are a variety of dining options at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, from the first plant-based restaurant on the Strip to high-end steakhouses. The resort’s signature collection offers unparalleled flavor profiles in visually-stunning spaces, while advanced culinary techniques ensure that each dish is an experience. Buddy Valastro of TLC’s Cake Boss fame, for example, brings his talents to The Venetian with a restaurant that features twists on Italian American favorites.

For something more casual, the hotel’s Black Tap specializes in loaded burgers, chicken sandwiches and wings served with beer. The burger joint is decorated with colorful custom murals by renowned street artist Fumero, and it’s conveniently located near the Venetian’s famous gondola rides.

The hotel’s pool scene is just as impressive, with a dozen pools and jacuzzis open in the summer and two available during winter. The pool decks are large and well-appointed with plenty of seating areas and a bar. It’s easy to find a quiet spot in the summer, and there’s even a section for kids and those who prefer to relax without the loud music of some of the other pools on The Strip.

Overall, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is a true testament to the city’s reputation as the entertainment capital of the world. With its unparalleled luxury, world-class amenities, and endless entertainment options, it offers guests an unforgettable escape from the ordinary, where every moment is infused with the magic and allure of Venice. Whether visiting for business or pleasure, The Venetian promises an experience like no other, where indulgence knows no bounds and luxury knows no limits.

The hotel is just a short walk to other Strip sights, including the Eiffel Tower at the Paris resort, Bellagio fountains, and the High Roller observation wheel at The Linq. The hotel is also within walking distance of the Caesar’s Palace complex and offers complimentary transportation to nearby attractions on its own shuttle bus. There is a monorail stop at Harrah’s/The Linq and downtown bus services are also available. The hotel’s staff is friendly and helpful, and the concierge was particularly knowledgeable about local attractions and shows. They helped us secure reservations at several acclaimed restaurants and a show, which made our stay extra special. I would definitely return to this hotel.
