One of the annoying features of eczema is ongoing inflammation. Your skin becomes inflamed and itchy. It itches non-stop and you can’t help scratching your skin in an effort to ease the discomfort.

As you know, scratching your skin worsens your skin condition. You must find a way to stop the inflammation and itching.

I did just that when looking for a cure for my eczema. Among the wide variety of raw organic foods that I started eating, ginger was one of the most effective in fighting inflammation.

In fact, ginger is a root that can help alleviate dozens of conditions, from high blood pressure, motion sickness, and other digestive ailments to migraines, headaches, arthritis, high cholesterol, and even dangerous blood clots. Ginger is one of the most popular healing foods in the world.

When I first started using ginger, I noticed that every time I included a little ginger in my daily fruit or vegetable juices, my skin was calm and it wasn’t as itchy during the day. Now I drink about 1.5 liters of organic juice on a daily basis and as far as I’m concerned it protects me from all kinds of ailments.

You can use ginger in a variety of forms, including dried, fresh, crystallized, and powdered. I find fresh ginger to be the best. When buying fresh ginger, avoid those covered in soft spots, mold, or wrinkled skin.

You can get the best benefit from ginger by eating it as often as possible. But don’t go crazy with ginger. If you want to prevent your skin from becoming inflamed on a daily basis, use about an ounce of ginger in your juices, or drink it in your tea, or add a small amount of ginger to your stir fry.

Once you find out how much ginger works, you will find that your eczema skin becomes so inflamed. Your skin is calm and you will tend not to scratch so much.

The less the skin is scratched from the eczema, the better chance it has of healing. The more chances that your skin will heal, the sooner it will completely disappear.

For a very effective drink, try juicing carrots, ginger, celery, and cucumber every day for about seven days and see if you notice a difference in the way your skin feels.
