Now the best solution is one where you are in control of your traffic and there are a few options you can employ.
So while driving more traffic to your website, you have the choice of free traffic and paid traffic.
You have to invest in your business
Now when it comes to business, especially online business, you have to invest in your business. There is no way to avoid investing in your business. Either you invest time or money. However, the best solution that I have been taught and found from my own experience is a bit of both.
Invest time and money in your business.
So investing time in free traffic generation options will pay off in the long run and if done right it will generate consistent traffic in the long run.
However, by investing money in your business, you will get immediate traffic. Although this traffic will only last as long as you are investing the money.

Therefore, the best solution is to invest time that will give a return of traffic in the long term and invest money in the immediate return of generating traffic.

Therefore, the options for generating more traffic to your website are endless, the skill is knowing which strategy will be best for you. Then implement the strategy that will give you the best return on your investment.
Now with the paid traffic generation option, you pay for the advertising you are going to do and the necessary traffic is generated to your website.
Although in my experience the list above are the most popular and effective advertising strategies, however each has its set of skills required to effectively write ads that will garner the best response.

More importantly, keep creating quality new content and your exposure will grow, your authority will be established, and people will start to trust you. Therefore, when people trust you, they will trust what you recommend and you will sell more products.

Now I should mention that with all the free or paid traffic, the number one strategy you need to do above all else is to build your list.
Bottom line, if you’re serious about building a business, you should build your list out of everything you do.
Your traffic to your website is the lifeblood of your business, but your list is your business. It is the asset that will be invaluable, so do not neglect this part of your business. Build your list in everything you do.
The strategy that I have used and that I have found most consistent is content marketing. Create new content regularly that is keyword suitable. Then post it to the relevant directories and sites while I do paid advertising too.
Thus, you will put content capable of generating traffic in the long run and may even eventually start to generate genetic traffic on search engines.
