Telephone cables are usually installed by telephone department staff members who are proficient in installation work. The installation of telephone cable to the exterior walls of buildings is generally treated as telephone department telephone network. Here we will see the installation of the telephone cable inside the building.

Necessary items For a perfect installation, we need some basic tools, such as a good quality cable with the required length and durability, the necessary number of wall sockets, a screwdriver, a wire stripper and a drilling machine to make holes in the walls .

Things to consider during installation:

There are different connection points while the cables are being extended. First, you must connect the telephone cable connection from the point of the telephone network in your area to the main junction box of the building, which is the responsibility of the telephone department. The connection must then be made from this main telephone jack to the exterior wall portion of your house or apartment. Many building owners are aware of providing telephone connections without damaging the wall decorations by providing the telephone connection points at the time of construction of the building itself. So the cat could already be there.

When you are fixing the wall jack, make a small enough hole with the drill in the wall, at the point where you want to fix the jack. Then run the cable from the building’s main plug to this plug point. Connect the outer end to the main plug of the building with caution and care, strip the end of the cable with the help of a wire stripper.

While connecting the dots, you may get an electric shock. So better wear leather gloves and wear shoes while doing the job. The other end of the telephone cable that has been passed through the hole must also be stripped and then connected to the wall outlet by firmly tightening the tips to the screws with the help of a screwdriver. Then fix the wall jack in the hole. Make sure the surface of the wall plug is parallel to the wall surface so that the wall decoration does not tarnish.

Now connect the cable from the telephone base to the wall socket with a plug. One end is connected to the telephone base and the other end to the wall jack. Both end tips are first stripped in the same way and then fitted with a screwdriver to the pin sockets and inserted into the sockets of the telephone base and the wall socket. Also check the connections of the base phone with the phone receiver and the headset. Make sure all connections are tight and your phone is ready.

Advantages of Telephone Cables:

The use of telephone cable ensures safety. These are very easy to spread where needed without the danger of electrical shock. They are very flexible and durable and are not easily damaged even if they get twisted or tangled. In addition, the telephone cable is waterproof and therefore a very safe option compared to other cables.
