The Chronicles of Madness – Episode 20

Legal Law

In this, our 20th episode of Madness Chronicles, we take a look at the madness of counting COVID-19 cases. Remember, insanity is a state of mental illness, especially severe, extremely foolish behavior, and a state of frantic or chaotic activity. Let’s take a look at the coronavirus count across our nation.

We’ll start with a statement from Dr. Ngozi Ezike, Director of the Illinois Department of Public Health. On April 18, 2020, she explained,“I just want to be clear in terms of the definition of ‘people dying of COVID.’ The case definition is very simple. It means that, at the time of death, it was a positive diagnosis of COVID. That means if he was in hospice and had already been given a few weeks to live, and then he was also found to have COVID, that would be counted as a COVID death.” What what?

In Macomb County, Illinois, Chief Medical Examiner Daniel Spitz reported a recent case in which a person committed suicide and was counted as a COVED-19 death. Why are you wondering? Good question. The reason Spitz gave was that a family member was in the hospital with COVID-19, so an autopsy was done and found that the suicide victim was positive for COVID-19. Score him for a Coronabalogne kill. Smart, huh?

In Oakland County, Illinois, each person who died while infected with COVID-19 is counted as a death from coronavirus. Dr. Ljubisa J. Gragovic, the county’s chief medical examiner, said: “We are evaluating all deceased people who come in, whether they were injured or in a hospital, at their workplace or at home, whether they are victims of violence or sudden unexpected death, we are evaluating them.“said Dragovic. And, drum roll, please, if they test positive after being injured in, say, a car accident, put one down for the Coronabalogna. See how this works?

Moving to Colorado, we found more of the same. The state health department recently reported that a quarter of recorded coronavirus deaths are not listed as such on the death certificate. Not sure why? (Wink-Wink) When asked during a call with reporters, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment told reporters: “The number of deaths reported does not represent the number of people who have died from COVID-19, only those who have died who have tested positive”. Decoder rings will be issued at the end of this session.

Deborah Birx, a doctor and big wig at the State Department recently stated: “There are other countries that if you had a pre-existing condition and let’s say the virus put you in the ICU and then you had a heart or kidney problem, some countries are recording this as a heart or kidney problem and not as COVID-19 deaths… In the US, if someone dies with COVID-19, we count it as a COVID-19 death.” That should certainly clear up the madness between us.

A funeral director at Colonial Funeral Home in Queens, New York, recently explained that they are putting COVID-19 on “everything.” He said, “To be honest with you, all the death certificates are writing COVID on all the death certificates, whether they tested positive or not. So I think, this is my personal opinion, I think as the mayor of our city, they’re looking for federal funds, and the more they put COVID on a death certificate, the more federal funds they can ask for. So I think it’s political. So I’m going to turn around and say that not everyone who has COVID on their death certificate died of COVID. Can I prove that? No, but that’s my suspicion. They’re putting it on everyone’s death certificate to make life easier.” To once again quote the funny Russian Yakoff Smirnoff, “What country!”

Let’s wake up from this madness before it’s too late. I wish you good health and until next time have fun, enjoy life and beware of the craziness among us.
