Wizard Leveling Guide: Secrets to Creating the Best Wizard Structure for World of Warcraft

Ever since I started playing World of Warcraft, I have always been drawn to using a spell caster. In WoW, that means using a wizard. I have played with some of the other classes, but I always came back to the Wizard. There is something nice about being able to throw fireballs at opponents from a distance. Here’s a pretty simple wizard leveling guide to help others who enjoy the dark mayhem a wizard can cause.

First of all, the key to leveling almost any character in World of Warcraft is efficiency. By that, I mean using your talents in such a way that you’re doing as much damage as possible while using the least amount of mana possible. You don’t need to use a big spell to take down an enemy that only has a hint of life. This is one of the most important aspects for a wizard leveling guide. The best way to do this with a wizard is with the fire spell tree. These spells provide the most value for money in terms of damage.

For my wizard leveling guide, I was limited to doing quests at the beginning while putting points on Improved Fireball. This allowed me to gain experience while maintaining good damage per second (dps). I kept putting points on the fire tree until I got to where I got Blast Wave. This allowed me to maximize many talents and make my build solid enough for solo play. Focus on single goals for the most part and try to avoid large groups if possible. Once you hit 40, the upgraded fireball should be maxed out and so should the release of flames. This will allow for some good hit and run tactics.
