After 2 weeks of searching, reading, and subscribing to Potential Gurus website for a way to make money online, I learned only one thing: information overload!
This doesn’t help much after shelling out a substantial sum of money to learn the tricks of the trade to make money online. Why? The more I read, the more confused I become (pretty much the same situation when I joined an MLM business company). Unlike the MLM business, I have a mentor (usually my Upline to guide me as she has been in the business much longer than me) and the communication is up close and personal whereas on the web the so called “Guru” pitches have his information on how to do it right without pointing out the shortcut to prepare the process.
There are simply many ways to make money online. Even though everything is web-based and information is offered through the displayed pages, they all look the same to a beginner. Only through reading your Content, the purpose of the presented website will be known. Methods of making money come from internet marketing, affiliate marketing, information marketing, network marketing and many more. Regardless of the category of business you are interested in, you are guaranteed to do the following:
1. Read a lot of information about the business
2. Learn how to set up the website, autoresponder and ways to generate traffic
3. Learn to write content for your web pages
4. Learn to write articles to promote your business or website
5. Learn to write articles or e-books to earn money
6. Learn How to Incorporate Unique Graphics, Banners, and Ads on Your Website
7. Learn to incorporate music, video, forms, links to attract your visitors
8. Learn how to SELL your niche so that regular visitors come to your website and there are many more tactics one can learn.
I’m sure you are now wondering if this is right for you, just as I was when I joined the MLM business venture. The answer is: for someone to learn something new, there must be an educational process that you have to go through. Some learning is facilitated due to an established system (school and institution) or some learning comes from personal mentoring by a leader (private tutor/business leader upline), but the most difficult of all is self-education/self-study, this really requires self-motivation.
If you are hungry to learn something, nothing can stop you on the way. You will know how to overcome the difficulties, challenges or opportunities that it presents to you. But if you are not prepared for it, a thousand and one reasons will come out of your mouth to justify why it is not suitable for you (we call it EXCUSES!), right?
I am very convinced now that there are ways to make money online by writing articles or e-books, otherwise we will not be able to see all these websites (hundreds of millions) promoting their niches. Regardless of the opportunities we are looking for, we must take time to familiarize ourselves with those processes so that eventually the money begins to flow. Obviously, doing it at a faster rate is a choice you have to make, but I always tell myself “There is no such thing as a GET RICH QUICK opportunity! If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably IS.” I urge you to treat your adventure on the web as a form of learning that will eventually equip you with the ability to earn the money you want. As long as you believe you can do it, it will be done!
