Write a law school essay

Legal Law

Writing a law school essay can really help you get into the school of your choice. Even if your LSAT scores were low, you can really throw it into school.

Your LSAT scores, undergraduate GPA, and your law school essay can be a big factor in what schools will look for when they offer you a position at the school. It could also be a factor as to the amount of scholarship money you will receive, if any.

The first paragraph of your law school essay is the most important. It could make a difference in getting you into a good school. If you are one of the best candidates and you write a bad essay, you could ruin your chances. Try not to be creepy when writing.

Some schools will give a required topic to write about and others will offer some suggestions. Be careful not to repeat yourself throughout your essay or on your application.

Remember that your application will cover all the basics the school will need to know, like your GPA and other scores. Your essay is your chance to tell them something they don’t know about you. Try to find something that best describes you as a person and as a student.

Try a new theme. Most people will write about who inspires them or what difficulties they have overcome. Try to find something they haven’t read yet.

Be unique and real. By doing so you will stand out in the minds of the staff and this will give you a better chance for an interview.
